We supply and install structural steel and have carried out a number of structural steel projects nationwide. WMS Site Services started business as structural steel erectors which is why our experience, pride in our performance, not forgetting our very competitive cost is one of the reasons why our clients keep coming back and using our skills to carry out new projects.
We have fabricated and installed structural steel in a variety of places, ranging from Cathedrals, museums and Garden centres to bread factory’s and industrial processing plants. using materials such as structural steel sections, universal beams, columns, angles, box sections, tubes, as well as light gauge.
A Project is not too big or small for us which is why we also have a hand in hand with building contractors to make sure we get the job done, on time and on budget.
A GUIDE TO WORKING WITH
WMS ARCHITECTURAL STEELWORK
For a project regarding structural steel we first off agree on the design or given by the appointed architect or structural engineer, we work very closely with these professionals and can guide you through this process if needed.
Once the design has been approved by the client, we would produce a full set of working fabrication drawings that show each and every component in its raw state through to isometric arrangement drawings, we then source the materials needed, shot-blasted and ready to be fabricated in our workshop.
The fabricated sections can be then finished in whatever coating required, this is usually determined by the environment the steel is to be placed in, Galvanised, powder/plastic coated, specialist paint paint such as fire resistant intumescent, or a zinc rich primer to be finished by a specialist decorator on site.
